All furry companions are special, but some really make their mark and witness so much of your life. He left as he lived, after a good meal and on his terms.
Wishing everyone the most beautiful Valentines Day weekend. Whether with loved ones or friends, may we be reminded that at the centre of everything is love.
We look forward to welcoming you next year ❤️

Now that spring has officially sprung, we have lambs frolicking and carpets of bluebells, we feel so lucky that things take a little longer to spring here at Cardross, in Scotland, as it gives us more time to appreciate it all.
Looking for a weekend getaway or a summer escape? Come to stay in one of our glamping pods or holiday cottages and experience the peace and quiet for yourself.
Slow down and take a break from the city… just an hour from Glasgow and Edinburgh.
We look forward to welcoming you soon

So… unfortunately, today happened.
We got a call this afternoon informing us that part of the moss was on fire. Thanks to the @scottishfireandrescueservice, and a reminder to all that despite the time of year wild fire risk is real.
We very rarely get snow here at Cardross as we’re very low (only 10m above sea level), but when we’re lucky enough to, it’s best to make the most of the magic.
❄️☃️🌨️
We are EXTRAORDINARILY excited to be able to welcome Back Doune The Rabbit Hole to Cardross in August 2025!

Autumn Mornings at Cardross ☀️
It’s that time of year again in Scotland where the stags roar during their breeding season (known as the rut). If you’re willing to wake up at the crack of dawn, you might just see a stag heading over the moss.
Even better when there’s a sunrise like this to match.
