A wedding is undoubtedly the happiest day in our couples’ lives and those who live and work at Cardross are lucky enough to share in their happiness. Happiness is contagious!

There is such a sense of excitement in the air, with beautiful flowers and happy friends and family everywhere. Faces full of smiles and laughter and not to mention the delightful sound of Champagne corks popping. Then the beautiful music which fills the air as the celebrations begin.

A lot of work and years of planning – for some – goes into making their wedding day look effortless. Seeing the couple smile when everything is just how they wished it, is priceless!
To the sounds of the pipes, the sun shone for Margaret and John as they walked out as husband and wife for the first time.
It was also wonderful to see the first wedding reception to use our newly converted barn, The Byre. This beautiful conversion now means that we can offer our couples a variety of options depending on the style and size of their wedding.
From inside The Byre or a Marquee, Tipi, or even Yurt in the Cardross House grounds surrounded by the beautiful Oak parkland.
We look forward to welcoming many more happy couples, for the very best of celebrations.
